Description

A very simple calculator that provides some additional functionality, making it extremely powerful and yet very easy to use.

Performs math calculations on time numbers (e.g. 3:15)
Converts time to decimal, and vice versa, with one button
Latest exchange rates for 171 currencies
Direct conversions of units of measurement for categories such as currencies, weights, volumes, temperature etc
Pre-programmed complex mathematical formulas with text prompts for easier data input
Eight customizable buttons that allow one-tap access to frequently used formulas and conversions

"Techy" Stuff

100% programmatic, no storyboards were utilized in the production of the app
Utilizes an API service to retrieve latest exchange rates
CoreData is used to store the downloaded exchange rates and which currencies are favorited
Uses UserDefaults to store the base currency and whether the the calculator will display only the favorited currencies or all the currencies

Learn Thai - Alphabet

Description

Quickly learn the Thai alphabet's consonants by hearing a native Thai speaker pronouncing the letter and using these three very effective methods.

Basic - learn the symbol and how to pronounce the letter. If you don't know the letter, swipe it left and it will be asked again. Once you have the letter mastered, swipe it right until the deck is empty.
Advanced - hear the letter, practice writing the letter. If you get it correct swipe left, if not, swipe left to be asked again.
Title Game - Practice hearing the letter and finding it amongst the other letters. Try to get as many letters correct in the allotted time. The number of tiles and allowed time can be changed in the game's settings.
